"Offering" is an interactive installation that reimagines the ancestral offering table, designed to respond dynamically to the offerings placed. By combining RFID tags, force-sensing resistors, and conductivity sensors with an Arduino Nano and a live JavaScript interface, this piece immerses participants in a ritualized experience.

The digital component of the installation is an AI-generated self-portrait that responds to specific offerings—food, fruit, and drink—with subtle blinking animations, sound, and textual messages. By digitizing and satirizing traditional ancestral rites, a practice deeply rooted in East Asian cultures and performed at the expense of female family members, "Offering" subverts expectations, presenting a modernized, reflective take on a cultural custom.
